Applications not sticking to a space.

So I decided to give spaces a chance again and see if I can make it useful for me.

I wanted one space to be my social networking space, however, neither adium, nor twitterific will stay in space 2. 😕

I have it set up to be in space 2, but it shows up on ALL spaces. 🙁 This is really cumbersome and annoying on a small 12inch screen.

My specs:
Apple Powerbook G4 12inch 1.5ghz
Running 10.5.8

AFAIK, nothing should ever be in every Space. It should either be in the Space it was opened from, or in the Space it is assigned to. The latter should trump the former. You probably knew all that.

I don't use either of the apps you mention, so I wonder if they just don't play nice with Spaces. Someone who does use them will have to answer that.

This won't be helpful considering your setup, but apps (especially MS Office) in Spaces seem to be much better behaved in Snow Leopard.
