Applications open, then immediately close.

A lot of programs, when I open them, they bounce once or twice, and then immediately close. The weirdest thing.

What do I do? SO FRUSTRATING! I've already re-installed iLife, to see it it was just that, but nope.

Ok this happens with (so far):

iMovie HD - after "what do you want to do" window. I choose create new project, and it happens.

iDVD - same as iMovie

Garage Band - the "initializing" window pops up then closes.

Crossover Mac - has the "expires in (blank) days" window, then closes.

By logging into a new account, you determine whether the problem is user-specific or system-level...it helps narrow things down.

But what do you mean by "didn't do anything?" They still won't open correctly?

It should at least by-pass any corrupted user preferences. If it doesn't work, you know it's something deeper.

Apps opening then immediately closing

I am also having the same issue. It just started today. It has happening on all applications that I have installed from the AppStore.

Here are several of the applications:

21 Blackjack
CannonGame
Labyrinth
YouNote
Who's Paying

and many more.

I have tried to unintsall the apps and then download it fresh from the appstore and reinstall and it did not fix the problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are we talking the Mac OS version or the iPhone OS version? Or both?

Repair permissions.

Log into another account.

Re-install the apps.
