So I have my Application folder dragged down to be a stack (don't really like it but that's another issue).

When I install a new program, like Adium or Firefox....initially in my Applications folder, I get a generic icon. Then once the program is run, it updates.

However, it's not updating the stack? It still shows generic icon with the circle with a line through it.

Anyone else having this issue?

Same here. The way I've found to "fix" it on a case by case basis is to open the applications folder, drag the offending app onto the desktop and cmd-z or drag it back. The the stack shows the correct icon. Annoying.

I've resorted to going into terminal and typing killall Dock.

That will update the stack.

Weird that my Mac Pro always has the behavior, but my MacBook doesn't always show the generic icon.
