Apply Styles to a Document Using Automator?

Hey folks!

Does anyone know if it's possible to apply styles to a word processing document using Automator? I want to apply a certain style to the same word in a *very* long document...I want to believe that Automator can help me with this one, but I can't see an immediate solution...
