App's close when opened

Latest iPhone firmware, on my iPhone 3G 8GB. When I open anything be it FaceBook, LiteIM.. Google Earth etc.. It will open and then immediately close.

Any ideas? short of a restore/reformat?

You probably haven't done this but I once un-synced the content on my iPod Touch, the icons were still there but not the apps to they just closed again...

Try downloading a free application from the App Store and see whether that solves your problem. It sounds like you have some kind of DRM issue.

Have you tried a reboot?

Have you shut the phone off completely and restarted it yet? Some apps will act funky until you do so.

I had the same problem. I reset, powered off, hard reset and nothing worked. In the end I just synced it to my computer and all was good😉
