iPhone X Apps constantly ask for iTunes password

Hi all,

This has been driving me nuts for months. When I launch an app (eg Twitter, YouTube), more often than not I get asked for my iTunes password on the iPhone. It seems to happen when an app gets updated but I can’t be sure of that.

This doesn’t happen on my iPad but there just seems to be something on this iPhone X that needs tweaking to make this go away.

Only thing is I don’t know the right question in Google to ask to find the answer.

I had this again (!!!) today while I needed an app for my work at the gym. I was there ready to beginn with the course and I could not start the app. It was NOT cool! I had to find internet for to start the app.

Any advice why this (…) happens?!
