Hello, on my 4th generation Apple TV with tvOS 11 the AppStore app often fails to refresh even though background app refresh is enabled in settings. I have to manually kill the app and relaunch it for its content to refresh. This happens with most apps but I've mentioned the AppStore app because is a native Apple app.
Are you guys having the same problem?

Constantly.

Youtube is a big one. I have over 60 subscriptions so content refreshing while I'm watching is common. However I need to kill the app and reopen it to see the changes. I left tons of feedback for this, other apps are the same. Its annoying and has become second nature for me to kill and reopen apps.

This is a massive omission by most devs including Apple.

Leave feedback for Apple for the AppStore (I don't use it enough to notice).

Don't waste time sending feedback all feedback is ignored.

This depends on the dev. Some take it VERY seriously.

Some will go as far as incorporating features/settings due to feedback.

Keep in mind some app devs are hired by companies to make their apps for them. Feedback can directly effect their business (be fired) and future business (other companies wanting to hire them).

Point in case is the team that develops the app GroupMe from Skype Communications SARL. They seem to watch the feedback after an update like a hawk especially after an update and will push another update very quickly if there is a problem. Currently it has nearly 5 stars for messaging app, which is impressive IMO.
