where did the Apple watch apps forum go? unless I'm just blind?

I just went looking for it to try to read some experiences of the Evernote app, and couldn't find it either. I'm assuming it's been integrated into the main Watch area...?

This new site design has really put a crimp in my usage of the forum.

It was also there in the old forum. There was previously a short-cut link from the Apple Watch forum list which hasn't made the transition to the new set-up.

Agreed. It didn't move, just left behind for the moment.
