My kid has an iPad. When she got it, we plugged in my ex's iTunes account info for apps to be downloaded. Now she isn't around anymore, like 50 apps are attached to her account, so I cannot update them. I have since started using my acct for new apps, but what can I do with all the existing apps that need updates?

Not much. You can either delete and re-download, or just never update them. Since they are tied to a different account that you don't have access to, your choices are quite limited.

Could you ask the ex for her iTunes password for those apps? Hate to tell you to give up 50 apps and have to buy them all over

That sucks! Kid has pages and pages of games on that thing.

Thanks!
