I'm trying to figure out why some apps are launching on my watch without me launching them. For example, I'll turn my wrist to look at my watch and the heart rate monitor is running. I didn't launch it and I'm sure I closed it because, I frequently double tap my crown and clear all the apps. Some apps make sense when they auto load, like the music app. I start some music on my phone and the app launches on my watch. I get that, but that's not what is happening here. My main concern is this - my wallet app (my credit card) seems to frequently launch without any interaction from me. I rarely open my wallet on my phone and I'm certain I've double clicked my crown and seen the wallet app open to my default payment (credit card) without me doing anything. Most of the other apps I could chalk up to an annoyance but I'm really concern that my wallet is opening without any input from me. Is there any way to keep this from happening? Does anyone understand how this is happening? Any help would be appreciated.

If you have the heart rate complication on your watch face, it's possible that you are accidentally touching the complication, which opens the app.

I'd stop wasting time force-closing background apps - there is no benefit to it at all.

I'd take a look at (in the Watch app on the iPhone) General / Auto-Launch / Live Activity Settings and turn off "Auto-Launch Live Activities" and perhaps even "Allow Live Activities" because those settings can automatically turn on the appropriate app when something is live on your iPhone. You can definitely click "Media Apps" and turn off "Allow Live Activities" if you don't want the Music app to show on your watch when you are listening to music.
