    Yesterday something weird happened.

Apps started opening and closing by themselves. When i was inside an app buttons were pushed randomly. This went on for a while and then stopped.

Could this be a software error or is there something wrong with the touchscreen? Im still under warranty - should i get it replaced?

I get weird touch screen behaviour too. I'm going to say it's a rare iOS 7 issue. But something's up with the touch screen drivers.

Hm ok! Needless to say this makes me uncomfortable. What if the phone suddenly calls someone or deletes something etc.

Im tempted to head over to the apple store and have it replaced.

Well don't let me stop you from doing that. Maybe we both have faulty hardware, I don't know. I don't recall this phone ever doing it with iOS 6 though but maybe it's a coincidence. I say replace it anyway.

Definitely. You could try a restore as new and see if it happens before you restore from a backup or reinstall your apps. But that is so bizarre I'd let someone look at it.
