Using my Max, several times when I am on cellular, apps ask me to login to either iCloud or the App Store when I click on the app. The apps have been downloaded and setup on the phone so it makes no sense as to why I would need to re-login to access them. Anyone know why it might be doing this?

Thanks.

I stopped trusting those generic iCloud logins. They pop up on my iPad desktop. Everything works, not even using an app.

No sign of any app it service needing to verify iCloud account. For all u know it could be a rogue agent wanting to steal my password credentials.

I filed feedback reports asking for why and more than the generic iCloud sign-in.

Didn't even think of possibly it being some malware....I did login once and it was legit, though it popped up again after clicking on the same app a few days later.

Maybe it was the beginning of this week's fiasco with iCloud being down?

Agreed. I simply hit "Cancel" or back out of the app and move on. If it continues with a certain third-party app, then I uninstall the app and find another app to do the job.
