Apps search iPad vs iMac.

Why are you not able to find stuff on the iPad when you know it exists because you can find it on the computer? Right now i am looking for the Super 8 hotel app. I can find it easily on my iMac. Am i doing something fundamentally wrong?

I am using the app app that was on my iPad.

Did you swipe to the leftmost page (search) on your homescreen and search for "Super"?

No, I was searching on the Apple App Store app. I did finally figure out how to get it on the computer and synch to the iPad.
