Apps taking forever to load

I got my X today and get it set up with no problems, and restored from my 7 backup. It has been 2 hours now and the apps still haven't finished loading. I don't think 1 3rd party app is past 50% and most say waiting.

Anyone else having this issue?

I am connected to my mac via lightning, and also to the net with a very fast wifi connection..

How many apps? Takes a while to index and load.

Give it Time. Took me about 2 HRs via WiFi to load 20gb of apps and 6 gbs of photos from iCloud.

Ahhh, it finally kicked in after I unplugged the lightning connector!

Photos seem to get priority over apps when restoring.

Mine took something like 4 hrs. Worked much better once I got on Wifi for obvious reasons.
