Apps which MUST be installed on boot drive?

Can anyone point me to a list of Mac applications which must be installed on the OS drive?

I'll be installing a few Raptors in my new MP -- one for OS & one for apps, but I know certain apps must be installed on the boot drive. I'm just curious if anyone has ever compiled a list of such apps.

im not a 100% sure but i think Apple apps have to be installed on the boot drive to work and for updating purposes and also professional apps such as Adobe's CS3 suite and parallels.

smaller third party apps can be installed anywhere.
