I guess many here are wondering about the compatibility of the "workhorses" apps in Leopard. I tried loading some projects and working with them for awhile.

On my macbook pro 17' 2.33 the ok list is, as of now:

-all FinalCut Studio apps (1st motion loading took ages but noting to worry much)

-Shake

-Photoshop and Flash from the CS3 (don't have any other one in the suite)

-Reason

-BBedit

-Painter X

overall I'm impressed, it seems more a software update, compatibility wise. Even quicksilver and iGetter works!

I've heard that PSD files take ages to show in QuickLook in the Finder, is this true?

I hope the QS bug that keeps the icon in the dock is fixed asap :)

psd? Can't tell you for sure, I have just a couple of them, I usually use .tiff but it seems the sluggishanees depends on the file size.

Yep the Quicksilver bug exist but nothing to worry about!

Later I'll try Logic, I have the new studio 8 but I was waiting for leopard to install.

And of course for now the diagnostic apps like diskwarrior and techtoolpro do not work. The first one runs but alsoft is (of course!) not recommending it and techtool won't start.

add to the ok list: Silo 2, Yojimbo and FxFactory (the fcpro plugins suite).
