Apps you are waiting to be re-sized to iphone 6 and plus.

You know i posted a few weeks & months back about things like having only 1GB of ram on both the 6 & 6 Plus and how the apps won't be optimized for the larger screen for a while and a few slated me for this, turns out i was right all along. ;)

Being an early adopter can lead to frustration waiting for things to catch up in this case apps being optimized for the larger screen.

As I've said before waiting abit always pays rather than rushing out buying something just for the sake of being one of the first.

uhh.. ya... anyway...

There are some much older apps that already seem to be scaling properly despite being released months before the new iPhone. BBC News is one of them - scales perfectly and last updated in November 2013.

Do developers also have to optimize for IOS8 as well? Two separate things or is it for apps? I saw 17 updates on my i5 today and most said update for IOS8. If two separate issues, then will it take even longer to upscale their apps?

Bejeweled Blitz is unplayable right now. There's a black bar running across the middle of the screen. That's new with the 6; it ran fine on my 5 running iOS 8.

And several others need to be updated, but at least they're functional.

World of tanks is awful and Google maps has huge text which looks rubbish. Apart from that most of the others I don't think look good on my +

Oh sky news also has a massive black bar of dead screen

Upscalling honestly didn't cross my mind, hope it is no where near to the level of ipad first gen that was horrific. IP6 is on its way I gues they got an hour
