AppZapper seems likes it's abandoned. I don't want to use CleanMyMac as it is so bloated. Is there any other good uninstaller out there or is there even a need for one on MacOS?
I could've sworn it was on v2.03 for more than a year. I'll try App CleanerAbandoned? I just updated AppZapper and used it an hour ago on my Intel Mac Mini running Big Sur. Works just fine for me.
"Not updated recently" does not mean "abandoned."I could've sworn it was on v2.03 for more than a year. I'll try App Cleaner
AppZapper has fallen so far behind with locating items that modern macOS generates -- Here's AppZapper , AppCleaner and TrashMe3 (that I usually use for cleaning) AppCleaner is still a good solution, but AppZapper lives on in the Delicious Generation still, but doesn't do well today. Remember that term, Delicious Generation (of apps) ?I would be interested to see the difference between AppZapper and AppCleaner … see if one removes more files than the other.
This is just what i needed – thanks for much!AppZapper has fallen so far behind with locating items that modern macOS generates -- Here's AppZapper , AppCleaner and TrashMe3 (that I usually use for cleaning) AppCleaner is still a good solution, but AppZapper lives on in the Delicious Generation still, but doesn't do well today. You'll see that AppZapper finds one piece of Boxer.app items, but then AppCleaner and TrashMe3 finds the same second item
