April 1 Ship Estimates are being "Prepared for Shipment"

Hey - just thought I'd offer this little nugget from my order status. Looks like they are catching up on their production as the Int'l launch is still a go and now my order which was originally slated to be delivered 2 weeks from now looks like its getting ready to ship.

Mine has the status 4/1 Ship 4/8 delivery:D

Yep. Me too.

Thought I'd throw in my status change to help all the 4/1 folks further their excitement. As of 8:30am PST it was still Not Yet Shipped. Seeing this e-mail I decided to check and whattdyaknow. As of 4:15 PST, my status has been updated to "Prepared for Shipment."

I have 2 - 16GB 3G Black on the order. Placed my order at 7:37 PDT on 3/11/2011. Hopefully Apple won't hold it on Lantau Island for 5 days like my Smart Cover. ;) Unfortunately, my wife's RED Smart Cover won't ship until 4/8, arrive 4/13.
 
When did you order? Time etc. I ordered an AT&T 3G on March 12 (next day after launch) at 7PM Pacific time. I have an estimated ship date of April 11 and delivery of April 14.
 
it really depends on the specific unit I guess. Because I still have my black 64 GB ATT with the "Not Yet Shipped" tag. Bummer. : (

My order for XX Verizon 3G 16GB Black and XX AT&T 16GB Black are now prepared for shipment as well. My order was placed at 7:45 AM on the 16th.
 
Looks like the 64GBs aren't shipping yet. Mine hasn't changed, still reads Not Yet Shipped. I ordered a 64GB Black Wifi at 5:49PDT.

Goodness, the 16th, that is encouraging! It'll be a struggle not to start getting my hopes up too high! Then, disappointment is sure to follow.

My status also changed today. I ordered a white 32GB Wi-Fi at 6:47 AM PST. I saw the pending charge on my credit card this morning and it went to 'Prepared for Shipment' at 2 PM.
 
I ordered mine the 12th at about 10:30 am eastern. The site at the time stated 2-3 weeks, which is fine. My Shipment date says april 4 and delivery date april 7. anyone else get a three day delivery? also my hold on my crdit card was removed today> Does this mean anything, i notice odd stuff with my shipment or is this stuff normal.
 
Looks like Apple won't let me cancel this one. Darn. I thought I had until the Xoom WiFi was released Sunday.:(

I guess I have a bit of buyer's remorse. I was getting used to NOT having an iPad2. (Yes, I'm only half serious.)

Oops, I didn't see that post. My 64GB WiFi is "prepared for shipment". Perhaps Apple sensed I was contemplating jumping to Xoom.

Hope yours comes through soon.
 
My red smart cover that is scheduled for shipment on April 7th, switched to Prepared for shipment today, but by 64G Black AT&T ipad is still "not yet shipped" and scheduled to ship April 4th (both ordered on March 12th at around 10am).

I ordered mine on March 12 8:45 AM. Ship date of Apr. 4 and deliver date of Apr. 7. I wonder why for some people it ship on Apr. 1, but has the same delivery date? :confused:
 
I'm in the April 11th group, glad to see things moving forward. I hesitated by about 20min, had it in my cart at 2-3 weeks then it updated to 3-4.

Eh, no rush. I'm borrowing my daughter's for now. Can't wait to get it so she stops bugging me everyday I get home from work. :)
 
No movement on my black 64gb wifi, ordered late in the apr 1 ship date group (6:52 pm PDT).

Anyone have that web site where people were posting shipping notices and order times?
 
Apple must have known that I just picked up my best buy order today. My 64gb AT&T white wasn't supposed to ship until 4/1, and I was just about to cancel it. Poo. :)
