I still don’t have any April challenge on my watch. Tried updating my phone and watch and rebooting both devices. Anyone run into this?
It could be you have already missed this months. So for example if the (unseen by you) challenge was do x 30 times, you can not achieve that now with it being April 7th. In that circumstance it just won’t show.

This happened to me when it was too late to do it for a few months back then. This commonly happens if you get the 20 and up day required challenges or closing rings, etc.

"Recently, you did 10 running workouts in a month. Hit that mark again with workouts at least 5 minutes long to earn your award."

I did 24 running workouts in March, and I do generally 5 per week - so I should do at least 22 in April, and then I should have this done in about 2 weeks.
As it turns out, I started using a third-party workout app this month and none of those runs counts toward this total. 🙄

So, we'll see - I may go back to the stock workout app, I may not.

which app? people might want to know this tidbit.

I seem to recall a thread from several months ago where someone had that exact same problem, don't remember details ;(

That’s my issue back then when I had to resort to Nike Run Club, Nike Training Club for my workouts when my fitness+ trial was over.

I found on a Reddit thread that someone had the same thing with garmin running app too, which turned out it was a recent watchOS 11.x update that does not count any third party/non 1st party Workout or Fitness+ running app on those challenges.

Only first party workouts done on the Workout app built in your Apple Watch will count.

I've been using both Intervals Pro and Workoutdors. Only runs using the stock workout app are counted.

No big deal - I'll have done the challenge, even if the Fitness app doesn't think that I did.

You could go into the workout section of the Health app and manually enter a duplicate of what your run stats are from the third-party app. I'm assuming those would count towards the challenge.

Bro I did that when it couldn’t count Nike Run Club workouts.

It didn’t work. 🤷‍♀️

Maybe the software has changed. This afternoon, I was a couple of minutes short of meeting my exercise challenge, which is 116 minutes, 14 times. I entered an "Other" workout for a few minutes in the Workout section in the Health app. A few minutes later (sometimes it can take a while), I checked and the Monthly Challenge was 1 day closer.

TLDR: I added a workout in the Health app and it counted towards the monthly challenge.

Minutes are a different story. If it’s x number or running/yoga/walking/hiit then that’s a different story

April challenge done.

I did my 10th run yesterday, as I expected, so I unofficially finished. No badge yet.

I did go back to using the stock app until I get the badge, and it says I've done seven. So I will have the badge on Sunday.

Did you by chance try using add a workout in Health to duplicate a run from in the non-Apple app?

No, it wasn't worth the try.

On to Workoutdoors for run tracking.
