Seems like the charges have stopped for the day. Those who haven't been charged yet might likely have to wait till tomorrow to see if we will get preparing for shipment.

It at least didn't look like any one with the 38mm SS Milanese loop had preparing for shipment but I could be wrong? Ordered mine at 3:02 with Apple Pay in Ohio.

What makes you believe they've stopped? Slowing on forum or otherwise?

Such a weird setup they have for this launch; no launch tier, just a generic 18 day window.

Yeah, there seemed to be a drastic halt in "my card was charged/preparing for shipment" updates on just about all of the threads. I figured that's all for tonight, but I could (hopefully?) be wrong.

Ordered a 42mm SS Milanese Loop. Ordered at 3:04, paid via CC (non-Apple Pay) in Toledo, OH.

I ordered a 38mm Green Sports Band version minutes after they went live via Apple Pay and it seemingly worked just fine for a 4/24-5/8 arrival date after a few hiccups involving the address (lacked a "St." and that halted things for a minute), but the real issue here is that I was "declined" a few hours as my card needed "verification" and to call my company. Well, I did, and this is stupid because the Apple Pay system failed on me, the card I used didn't even have a charge from Apple at all when I contacted them, yet it tried to charge me (no idea where the charges went as Apple Pay gives you a unique code when you are looking at the order info).

I had to adjust my card manually via the Apple website and it took the change as it took my card information when I put it in.

I hope I'm going to see my watch on the 24th, or at the very least I'm really hoping I didn't miss out on the initial order stock because of this debacle involving Apple Pay.

The charge is now pending on my card, so that's a plus, but I'm worried I won't receive my watch on launch and maybe even in the original order batch now.

Went on the store chat and asked about this. They said it could take up to one to two business days for them to charge if you're in the first wave like I am

Was the card declined when you placed the order on April 10th or did you recently received an email from Apple notifying you of this?

Almost all credit card now have a security feature to decline large purchase that's one off. I.e. If you haven't seen $$$ from Apple Store online in the last 12 months, the decline may show up.

I hope Apple take into account this and will let buyer in this situation the chance to rectify the problem within 24 hours WITHOUT losing their place in the order queue.

To you guys who don't have changing statuses: do you have a charge pending on the card you used? I'm still "processing" but I have the pending charge on my card.

It was not declined when I placed the order. I received an email around 6pm telling me that I was declined by my card issuer for the order despite me having nearly 2K opened up for it. Hopefully contacting them allowed them to know that I was trying to order the Watch. I don't think it locked me due to a fraud attempt, I never got an email or call about it being potentially that.

I really do hope I don't lose my place in the queue because this shouldn't have been a problem in the first place as I was not declined and it was only when they attempted the shipment. The guy I talked to said there was never even an attempted charge by Apple when it was "declined".
