I forgot how ugly text looks on XP... And those sys tray icons are hideous, use objectbar to get rid of them. Try flyakite for some better icons and firefox with safarifox as a web browser. Also windows shadows make a world of difference when working with multiple windows, try y'z shadow. and for the complete look use windowblinds to put the window widgets on the left side. Trillian is also better then MSN and can look like iChat if that's what you want.

After you've done all that think about all the time you've wasted where you could have instead done something useful.

Stop posting windows screenshots in a mac forum! It's so annoying! Just get a Mac and be done with it. That's what I did and I haven't looked back.

I just found this place the other day I was only saying hi.:(

Anyways I will be buying a macbook, but I'm going to wait till lepard comes out since I don't need it yet.

Ey plymouthbreezer, howd u get ur dock to still have the outline, yet be clear in the background. Ive been using cleardock, but i dont like it completly clear, and id like to have it the way yours is. Thanks

You did, actually, answer my other question in another area... who could post the first M$ XP desktop that looks as close as possible to OS X on a intel mac. ... oh, well, actually your post is from a PC. But still, look how close you can get!

I guess the challenge is still open then. I might just dig up a link once the beer wears off a bit. :D

Don't worry about it. Windows (and Linux for that matter) desktops are more than welcome here in the thread (well, it helps if there's some sort of Apple motif or theme ;)). Potential switchers, such as yourself, are more than welcome... ;)

So don't mind anyone sniping at you because of your Windows desktop (though you might have to accept or at least endure a bit of teasing :p).

Welcome to the forums, hope you'll get a Mac soon, it will change you life... at least the computing part of it... oh and I nearly forgot: Hi! :)

Humm... I'm using ClearDock too. I have the "Colorize Dock Background" checked off - that might be it.

Yes and make the background border color darker ;)
