Wow, I know that isn't final, but Windows still looks pretty crappy and unpolished. Shocker.

Daniel.

I like the look more than XP but that new MS Word looks like crap

Well going by your signature Skywalker, I'd say you're a bad source to judge the two OS's -- you seem to have a pre-determined bias.

I'm undoubtedly in the minority here, but I actually kind of like the new Vista look. Office 12 will take a bit of getting used to, but it seems to be an improvement over the XP default theme.

I'm working on the icon set...

Ok, so I'm a sucker for car desktops:D . Here's a portion of my latest rotation.

BTW, check out the license plate on this one. Look familiar? ;)

Ha, Ha. Bias is irrelevant, my bias comes from extensive use of both platforms, and that experience leads to the conclusion shown in my sig. I'm just as good a source as anyone else who has used both OS's, perhaps better since I've been a technician for both, so I've seen the extremes both ways. Lemme tell you, I'd rather have a serious problem on the Mac than a relatively minor problem with Windows.

You're a beta tester, what can I say? I must say, you really should get Apple to take care of the problem for you, unless, it's not in fact really a problem. Interesting line of thought, don't you think?

Anyways, that's not what this thread's for, I posted in the May Desktops with my actual desktop, as everyone should be doing within a short time frame, so I'll clear out of this discussion to save the thread's last moments.
