too lazy to resize, have fun scrolling :p

Don't be a jerk, make a damn thumbnail. The rules were stated by a moderator on the first page of this thread:

- When posting a large image, please, please, use tags to make a clickable thumbnail of your image!

- when quoting a post with an image, please remove the image (if you quote a recent post) or - at least - change the image into a [img] or even a [url] in the quote (if you quote an older post).[/QUOTE]

Oh, it's SO hard to put [img] tags around your image!

I feel like my posts are being removed. I know I replied to this forum.
Anyway, it probably pissed the mods off that I didn't post a picture..so here it is...

Wow...where did you get that desktop picture? I want it! :)

Oh yeah, here is mine taken my Matt (aka lilstewart)! :p

Oh yes, I will post my new desktop once I receive my iBook.

A new one from clearification.com (unfortunately, the whole site's one big Vista ad, but the comedian is funny). I'm just posting the picture because it's easier than taking a screenshot.

Hey, how do you get the date, and the time to appear in the bar at the top? I couldn't figure out how to get the date on there as well.

Hey I am relatively new to macs.. is there a special program you use to modify the menu and put in those custom icons? Also where do u download them?

Oh my gosh. You're killing me. I had no idea how much cool stuff is out there. Is it bad that I want some apps simply because I'd like having their icons in my menu bar?
I know the feeling... :) Meteorologist, iSnip and SpiritedAway are three of my favourites and both are essential on my iBook... unfortunately neither is universal, so , and it looks like chances are relatively slim there ever be any more development... :( :( :(

The date modification, and the changing of the dock icons won't void apple's warranty will it?
Don't worry... changing system preferences and installing applications won't void any warranties... at all... some hacks might mess up the system to a point where Apple support/geniuses will refuse to do anything except recommend a system reinstall (archive and install or - in the worst cases - clean install), but apart from the odd firmware hack you have to alter the hardware to void your warranty.

Just keep current backup of all the data you cannot afford losing, that is something you should have anyway, not only if you try the occasional hack. You never know when the HD dies. The only thing that's certain is that it will die sooner or later (and hopefully much, much later).
