I believe OS X auto adjusts the opacity depending on the wallpaper. 'Could be wrong, though.

With 10.5.2 Apple added an option to make the menu bar either translucent or opaque. Go to System Preferences/Desktop and Screensaver and you'll find it near the bottom of the window.

I am seriously considering downgrading to Tiger, the whole icon mess (where you go back and forward between folders and it doesn't remember settings, or you open a folder and the icons are just a mess).

Also preview not being able to expand every pic to the frame automatically is a bugger.

While I'm moaning, I use Realplayer over Quicktime because the viewer windows won't expand anymore with the green button deal - WTF is that about!

Anyway, rant over, here is clearly the wallpaper of the year (and any year for that matter);
