The two jokes I saw yet were Apple buying Luxpro (the guys with the Super Shuffle) and Apple sueing Apple because they leaked info about Tiger on apple.com. The second is the better one IMO.

Sony to aquire Apple

Some 400 german Mac users are at Sony German headquarters presently cause of a leak there that Sony plans to aquire Apple.

(Of course I know today is fools day!)

But german TV is there too and a press conference is planned.

You probably won't hear about it until April 2nd...

You cannot expect all announces are done like when Stalin died, and Vladivostok was the first place in the world they announced it (because it should be announced at the same hour in all of Russia... )

All I can say is that at-least some sites have a sense of humor. AppleTalk here in Australia did the worst thing imaginable, by declaring that by the end of tonight, the site was closing down, due to legal action. Fortunately, it was a hoax. They had many many people over here scared.

In much of the US, April Fool's Day is an all-day tradition, so don't trust anything you see on US websites until some time between 0500 GMT April 2 (which is midnight EST) and 0800 GMT April 2 (which is midnight PST).
