Aren't VMs restricted from icloud login anyway
Well, one of them was able to log in, so I guess not? (But even more strangely, it did so without requesting or receiving a 2FA code.)

It's working on real hardware for me too, by the way, which is why I'm releasing this!
 
I take back what I said. I tried it again this morning and it worked perfectly. Really strange, as I'm fairly certain I was doing the exact same thing as yesterday.

Caldav and icloud work great on Snow Leopard

no, that's only with os x 10.11+ where grandslam was implemented. there wasn't really any sort of device verification before that, you just had your username and password sent to the server.
