Hi,

I have added "IMAP" of GMail in Apple Mail for iOS and macOS.
For iOS I can choose "all mail" as Archieve.
For macOS I cannot choose " all mail" as Archieve.

How can that and what should I do?

What version of macOS are you using?

On my Ventura Mac at Mail>Settings>Accounts, with the Gmail account and the "Mailbox Behaviors" tab selected, "Archive Mailbox:" is set to "[Gmail/All Mail]" and it works fine.

The setting for the iCloud account there is "Archive" and it works.

I use macOS Ventura on my Macbook.

I hereby send three photos. 1st and 2nd photos are from iOS. 3rd photo is from macOS. On iOS I can select "all emails" in the Archives folder. With macOS I don't see "all emails".

When you choose the "[Gmail]" option does an Archive folder up in your email folders for Gmail? Does Archiving a message send it there?

Yes, when I want to move a message to Archive I get an error message. Cannot move to [Gmail].

Definitely strange not having the proper choice showing.

Have you tried removing the account and then re-adding it?
