I only have 9.17 GB (out of 55) free on my Macbook.

How much room does the archive and install need to perform correctly? Does it add any space to what I currently have on there?

Should I clear up some room first?

    Thanks.

It adds a few gigs, I would definitely do a clean out first...

You're probably okay, but everyone recommends at least 10 gigs. If it works, it works. If it doesn't work, it will tell you, and it doesn't continue the install.
