Archive and Install. Whats next?

I archived and installed when I installed Leopard and now I don't know what to do with the previous system folder? Do I delete it? Also, Mail won't let me delete any messages. I can do everything else but it keeps saying that the move failed and there is no such mailbox or something. Is anyone else experiencing this?
 
Sorry , but want did you WANT to do with the system folder?

It is there if you want to resore anything from it, otherwise go ahead and delete it
 
I don't really care for it actually. As long as I have my music and documents as well as like MS Office and the like.
