Archiving comments from shared Photostream

My mother has started to publish old family photos in her shared photostream.

My concern is that if that particular cloud service is retired, all those comments are lost.

Is there a way to archive the comments, or convert them to generic metadata?

If there is no way to save these comments it might be better if she used a different method.
