Are 32 bit apps deleted from the iPhone upon upgrade to iOS 11 or do they stay on till they get manually deleted? I noticed there are some apps on my iPhone that haven't been updated for a while that are receiving a last minute 64 bit update. I guess a few more stragglers might still update but I probably won't know about it if the app is deleted off the iPhone before the developer gets around to it.

They stay on until you delete them. When you try to go into an app it says it’s not compatible with iOS 11 and that the developer needs to update it.

If you DO have 32-bit apps, you can discover those in Settings/General/About/Applications.
If no apps are listed (and the Applications item is not clickable), then you don't have any 32-bit applications.
