Just bought a new iPad Air but haven't unpacked it yet - my question is whether there are already many apps making use of its 64-bit processor, and also if those 64-bit versions are automatically detected whenever an Air is being synced.

From what i read about that is: "Xcode can build your app with both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries included so it works across all devices running iOS 7," Apple said."

So i presume that if the app you downloading an app made for ipad air/iphone 5 only it probably because it 64 bit.
