Hi there,
Just trying to figure out if there's more than one panel model in the 2018 MacBook Pro 13" (Quad Core Touch Bar Model) as there has been in previous years.

I love my 2017 13" with A034 panel but need more space and could use a performance boost in VMs (16GB RAM) so have looked at the 2018 however of the 3 examples I've tried all had some degree of PVM flicker (I'm really sensitive to this and got strained/tired eyes within 10 minutes on the new models. Could feel it almost immediately)

Every one I tried had the A03E panel as does everyone I've checked in 2 or 3 stores. Just wondered if anyone has a different panel, please post if you do and I'll try the panel lottery a few more times.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Go to Apple > System Preferences > Display > Colour then Select Colour LCD (on left-hand side) and Click Open Profile. Scroll to item 17 (or bottom of list) and look for the Model Number......

There used to be a nice easy terminal command but it got removed for the 13" back in Mavericks or maybe earlier

That would be great if you could check, thanks !
