YouTube is currently full of videos about iOS 18 and 26 jailbreaks for iPhones. What I’m wondering, though, is whether all of these are trustworthy. For example, there’s the unc0ver jailbreak available at the .dev URL for iOS 11–14.8. Under the .vip URL, there’s another site with the same design for a jailbreak for iOS 16–26. Why isn’t that under the same URL?
The same goes for checkra1n. The .in domain for older devices and iOS 12 has been around for a long time. But there’s also a site with a .ua domain that leads to a Windows software. It all looks like the “original,” but is it really?
Then there are countless other previously unknown sites that can perform the jailbreak directly on the iPhone. What also confuses me is that after installing it, you first have to download a free game app from the App Store to complete the jailbreak.
I don't understand the point of this procedure.
I have two iOS 18.x devices that I’d like to jailbreak, but which one can you trust?
