Apple uses 316 L stainless steel for the link bracelet and Milanese loop. I didn't see anywhere on this listing that was indicated what type of steel they use. Regardless, it won't be the quality of Apples Milanese loop.

I got an EH-Band one and it was a bit loose and felt like it was going to come away from the watch, I’ve bought a genuine Apple one, it feels so much more secure.

Saying that I’ve had to get an exchange for it because it has a defect. Hopefully the replacement will be fine

OMG no! It means they're both made out of some type of steel, it speaks nothing to the quality of the steel or the craftsmanship that went into making it or whether the design fits properly with the watch.

To turn your question around, the cheapest Android phone has a flat, rounded rectangular case and a glass front, just like an iPhone - does that mean it is just as good as the phones that Apple sells?

The connectors on the non-Apple one that xraytech posted look positively hideous.

I have a Spigen-branded knockoff of the Milanese loop, in space gray (from back when Apple only had the shiny silver Milanese loop), that I got off Amazon for around $20. The connectors and craftsmanship are pretty good. If you search this forum for "Spigen" you'll see lots of positive comments about them.

Another thing, look how snug and perfect the lugs on the Apple loop fit in the watch compared with how loose the third party one looks, my 3rd party one hung out so much I could see the black springy bits.

Well they are cheap enough to try out, you could buy one and then return it. The build quality is so much better from Apple though.

I have a black milanese knock off and noticed the band does not completely fill the space where it sits on the bottom lug. It looks like yours also has this defect. The Apple milanese completely fills that space.

Yep, your band doesn’t fill the space like the real deal (in either direction) and looks bad to me.

Also the sides of the band aren’t flat on yours it looks like. I am not going to count but I suspect you don’t have as many rows, knockoffs tend to look chunky.

I can’t say on yours but the other knockoffs I have seen are quite a bit lighter and less substantial.

I have yet to see a fake one with as good a magnet.
