Hello, are any of you using an iPad with only a Magic Trackpad (without a physical keyboard)? How practical do you find it?
Thank you, this is exactly what I wanted to know. I too am mostly reading and scrolling on the iPad.I do! Actually I have the keyboard as well but mainly use the trackpad as I’m mostly scrolling through reading material/pdfs. The trackpad is perfect for scrolling and zooming. I have everything going through a hub attached to a stand so I don’t have to worry about a low battery. I can even use the setup with my iPhone 15 plus.
You’ll never go back to a mouse. So much nicer!Thank you, this is exactly what I wanted to know. I too am mostly reading and scrolling on the iPad.
I’m sure it’s great to use. I will get one. Do you have the white or the black trackpad? You’ll never go back to a mouse. So much nicer!
Good to know it works so well with iPad. I’m looking forward to getting one.it's pretty impressive how well the trackpad works with the iPad.
At times I use the Apple Keyboard as well.
I even got one of those rotating magnetic stands to use the iPad vertical lol

I have the white version. The black version wasn’t out yet when I bought this one (at least I don’t think it was). The white has held up well, no yellowing. I’ve got a black desk so I try to keep all my devices white. If you decide to get a Magic Keyboard, there’s a nice tray on Amazon that connects the two at the same level and looks good.I’m sure it’s great to use. I will get one. Thank you for the idea for the tray. I will check it out. As for the trackpad colour, I will try to have a look at both before deciding.I have the white version.
