With some economists suggesting the pound could weaken against the dollar this weekend as a result of the result of the election, I'm wondering are Apple playing safe by holding off with their pricing till next week. The same could be the case with the weakening euro

Well the pound has taken a bit of a hit againts the dollar and now that we officially have a hung parliment the pound might not be all that strong due to true political uncirtaincy that we now have. Bad news for us is that it means that the iPad might be a bit more expensive now.

What can you say - we wanted change but we didn't know what to. ;)

I'd just be happy for a definite price, I expect to get shafted in the wallet with Apple much of the time. I just hope there are no further delays, that would make me finally import I think. Out of a fit of pique !

Just be sure to pay your taxes. I think the world has learned a valuable lesson about that...

Euros value is falling on it's face because of Greece. Everyone there has avoided taxes for years, now look where the country and euro value is going. A coalition gov. is going to have a lot less of an effect than that

I think that a veiled (well, not very in truth) implication that individuals here might not pay their taxes is not a very friendly attitude to have to someone you don't know. IMHO.

But anyway - back to the plot. I think Apple already know what the prices are. Pity we don't. ;)
