I've done so for years. I guess canadian tap water is of better quality than the US stuff.

Even in places with extremely nice water like San Francisco (which is pure snow melt) it is highly recommended that consumers not use tap water for things like coffee makers and irons. The impurities are beyond detection for humans, but will build up over time on any appliance.

Best trick to a successful party : Down a glass of water for each beer. You'll pee more, but you won't feel it the next morning.

I've known this trick for years and I've never applied it. Probably because it sucks to drink water when you can drink more beer :p (I'm saying this while I've spent the whole day recovering from this last night's party xD)

But back on topic, the water where I live tastes terrible. I have a generic activated charcoal filtering pitcher, and it really improves the taste. The water is also colder since it is in the fridge.

Still need 2L a day to keep those hangovers away. ;)

You don't tend to think about that kind of stuff when you are young and indestructible. As I have gotten older, I have come to understand why my dad always drank burbon and water. :)

As for you other point, I was going to make some comment about flouride making it taste bad and stealing our essence, but this guy beat me to it. :)

They seek the purity of our ess........ water, but we must deny it to them.
