For my 16 inch pro, as its big and expensive and to me when a laptop weighs more it means I can drop it more due to trying to one hand hold it, so more prone to scratches or bumps or dents (for me).

I do have AppleCare+ however I have read some conflicting things about it being bad for hinges.

Anyway I got this the other day: https://incase.com/products/textured-hardshell-woolenex-case-for-macbook-pro-16

Does anyone have experience with this laptop? Or case issues with 16 inches?

I would say that this "case" looks more like protection from minor scuffs and scrapes due to handling and not drop resistance. I don't see a laptop surviving a drop on a hard surface with or without this.

Sorry no experience with these covers other than knowing someone who loved his but mostly for looks.

Cases are always bad, they're insulators, if nothing else.
That doesn't give me much information to work with. And using this one for days the temps have remained the same as they have before

I always use the Moshi iGlaze Hardshell with no issues
