Are different versions of iOS collectible?

I would like to collect iPad Air 2 with different versions of iOS. Do you think, that it makes sense? What about batteries in for example 30 years, what will probbably happen to them?

Some Battery's expand , There are quite a few iPhones that the battery has pushed the screen out due to expansion.
But also nothing may happen .

I'd guess that specific batteries could be extremely difficult if not impossible to find in 30years time.
Those of us still running Pismo or iBook G3 clamshells already have difficulty in finding 'good' usable batteries - and they are 'only' 19 years old.
