Other Are Facetime videos stored? Naya Rivera

Are Facetime videos stored in the cloud or locally for a temporary period? They said they were able to review facetime videos she had with family members right before and help rescuers locate her body based on background. Im assuming 2 things 1- the people didnt have screen recording on, I find that unlikely but maybe they took screengrabs if the kid did some cute things. 2- The article is reporting this correctly.

Anyone know?

There is no reason for FaceTime videos conversation to be stored anywhere.
Unless anyone can prove me wrong.

My guess is that either they recalled the location by memory, or they used "FaceTime" loosely to mean 'video conversation' perhaps in the form of short Whatsapp video messages.

The story strikes me as rubbish. FaceTime calls aren’t recorded anywhere.

Didn’t read the article but I never heard of FaceTime calls being saved anywhere.

FaceTime does not store calls plain and simple. Unless they used a screen recording app those call no longer exist.

I mean, even if they were stored somehow by Apple, do you think Apple would grant the access to them so easily and fast?
