are forum reply drafts saved anywhere?

One day recently I typed up a reply to a thread and then accidentally closed the browser window. I assumed I was SOL, but it turns out that when I made it back to the thread, my reply had been saved as a draft. Very cool!

Well, today I did the same thing again, but this time I've actually forgotten what the thread was (lol) so I can't just go to it. Is there a single place where our "drafts" are saved?

it doesn't not appear to be a way to find any drafts you might have. they are attached to the post itself.

If you weren't using a private window, your browser history should be able to show you what you were reading. I often use it to go back to something where I've forgotten which thread it was in.
