Are new Macbook Pro 2018 RAM user upgradeable?

Apple hasn't released a MacBook Pro with user-upgradable RAM since 2012. The 2018 models are no different.

Hmm, that sucks. I know 8GB won't be enough in a long run, but I'd rather upgrade SSD size...

The general rule for Apple computers these days if your computer must last more than a couple of years: buy the max RAM available, even if it stretches your budget a little bit.

I would forsake the bigger SSD and get 16GB of RAM. You can always buy an external hard drive , sSD or whatever. Yeah not the ideal situation but cheaper

I have Macs with 256gb and with iTunes backup automatically dumped on the main HDD, I was getting sick of running out of space. Yeah, it'll be a touch decision to pick between more SSD and more RAM. I may end up waiting for non-Pro version for cheaper options.
