I wanted to know if OWC is reliable with RAM. Also is Paypal safe because i am skeptical to use it after hearing some horror stories. Any ideas?

Paypal is generally safe, but it's not bulletproof when using services of questionable repute. You still have to exercise common sense, and you have to actively avoid scammy eBay transactions, for instance.
OWC is great. I bought quite a few things there; RAM, CPU upgrade, batteries, etc. No problems. Even took them up on the 30 day guarantee on the CPU upgrade and returned it because it wasn't fast enough. No hassles.
Also use Paypal often to pay for stuff on the web. No problems there either, been using it for years.

For safety never click any link sent to your email by PayPal or a supposed PayPal email... Always type the URL yourself and you will be fine.

I concur, never a problem and the customer service is first rate, RAM is incredible, I am running a 2+4 GB set up in my BMB (6 GB total)
and as far as I know they are the only ones offering the 4GB stick of Ram for the Mac's BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!
Paypal is safe in the sense that they will take your money, send it to the person that is supposed to get it, and you can be sure that person will get the money, and you will have proof that you paid it. So your cash is not going to disappear somewhere on the way.
Now if you send the money to some scammer, Paypal will help you much less than they maybe should to get your money back.
And of course follow the advice given here before: Paypal doesn't send emails. If you get emails that look as if they come from Paypal, they don't. Any email that looks as if it is sent by Paypal is a scammer trying to get you.
