Are people noticing the "improved dictation"?

I certainly am - seems MUCH more accurate for me, I am finding myself using it a lot more to write longer messages, I don't have to go back and correct nearly as much stuff as I did on previous iOS versions!

Advanced dictation is a new feature and enabled by default in the DB3.

I haven't tested it yet; I'm just replying only "ok" to all my messages, i'm so lazy.

Yes there is a definite improvement. Far from perfect but still much better.

This is great news. iOS 26 was abysmal with tons of ridiculous mistakes and context errors.

It’s been much better for me. Especially for words or phrases that aren’t “normal”. My dog’s name is Nala and iOS26 always had trouble when I used her name. Same with other non-everyday words as well.

It’s been great so far. Not sure if it’s a contextual knowledge increase or just better processing but I’m hardly correcting anything and it’s been really good in CarPlay. I no longer have to redo long messages.

I agree that the dictation is far better. But Siri/ dictation in CarPlay has been abysmal for me on 27 beta. iOS 26 was much more reliable for responding to messages. I’m hoping they get this worked out.
