I was browsing the iTunes Music Store today and found a few songs I plan on buying as soon as I can and was wondering if there was any way I could set up a Wishlist. So I opened iTunes help and found this:

    "Creating a wish list:
A wish list is a selection of items from the iTunes Store that you would like to purchase at a later date.

If you publish your wish list to the iTunes Store (as an iMix), others can buy items on your list for you." <---- Does this happen????

Well, parents, friends, etc. Not random people.

That would be a typo (or at the very least, poorly worded).

Maybe if you created a mix so magical it changed someone's life.

In a word, yes some are.
DeviantART has a similar system that allows users to set up print wish lists. I've bought a few things for people who have been helpful or just plain nice. Then again I like giving gifts so that's just me.
