That was the previous rumor I was referring to. I'm wanting to know if that rumor has been confirmed.

Whether it's the same controller as Samsung's 830 Series remains to be seen. The likelihood is very high though, because it's the only official SATA 6Gb/s controller that Samsung has out in the wild.
