Are the earbuds/headphones that come with the 6s the same as what Apple's had for the past few years? I was shocked at how much worse the sound quality is compared to the old style ones I had been using. I know they're not the best, but the previous model sounds so much less tin-canny than the new earbuds.

They only fit me if I reverse them

Right into left ear

Left into right ear

Then they don't fall out

It's crazy I was so excited when they video came out for the debut of them, then again I honestly thought they weren't hard plastic at the time

^ disagreed....the earpods aren't half bad. They won't win awards vs. legit IEM but they fit/sound good for included hardware.

I noticed that the new 6s earpods do seem to fit slightly different. Might just be placebo effect, I don't know.

Some earphones need breaking in for a few days.
Seriously? And even the mic, too? When making calls with the earbuds, I was told I sounded worse with the new than with the old ones.
Apple's earphones have always been terrible, so that is no news.
Yes, that's not news, but the fact that an Apple product saw a decline in quality should be.

The older model definitely did not fit my ears (small ear canal).
These are slightly better but not a great fit. If I twist and manipulate them, at least, they'll go in a bit.
They usually don't stay in but better than the previous model which didn't go in at all.
Perhaps, they'll stay in better with a head band over them :0
