I have iPhone 13 Pro, apple doesnt sell the 13 pro leather case anymore and it was expensive anyway. The clear case is $49 which is insane to me, and it doesnt even have bottom phone protection.

I really want MagSafe though. And when i read reviews for Spigen, Incipio, other value brand third party bag safe cases. so many reviews say the magnets just arent as good/strong as the apple brand mag safe cases. Is this true in your opinion?

strong magnet is important to me since i will have a wallet attachment i dont want falling off, or a MagSafe battery which is heavy and can fall off.

I suspect it's like anything where you get what you pay for. If you buy a $9.99 case off of Amazon, it's not going to have expensive magnets. I've had the Apple silicone case and now I'm using the Mous Limitless 5.0 case. I feel the magnets are about the same.

I've had the Apple wallet slide off in my pocket with both cases. It's not really a problem if you're paying attention but it's something you have to be careful of especially when taking your phone out of your pocket. I would put my hand on the back and feel the wallet to make sure it doesn't slide off when taking it out of my pocket.

I've given up on the Apple wallet, not because of that but because it only holds two cards. For me one is a drivers license so I can only have one payment card. If you try to force three cards and it's becomes extremely difficult to get them out. If they come out with an updated Apple Wallet that holds three cards I will buy it

i’m also still using a 13 pro and i’ve been through so many 3rd party cases. I can say that most of them usually have less magnetic strength than apple cases besides a few.

most notably being rhinoshield, they have like super magnets lol. the only reason i don’t use their case is bc they’re all too slippery for me and i have dry hands.

also ROKFORM has possibly the strongest magsafe magents ever but I haven’t bought one of their cases…yet

Check out Magbak. I’ve had their case and wallet for over a year on my 13 Pro Max. I just ordered the same case and wallet for the 15 Pro Max. I had to order another wallet because mine did stretch out a bit. But the magnets are insanely strong.

my cheap aliexpress cases have way better magnets than apple cases.
all my ali cases are around $20

The Caudabe Sheath supposedly has a better magnet than the Apple Silicon case. I never tried either one though.

I can tell you my Speck case has a great magnet though, I can't imagine Apple's is better.

Not the case at all. I’ve had $10 cases from Amazon of off brands and the magnets were way stronger than expensive cases. An off brand $10 I tried had such strong magnets I took them out and put them in a speck MagSafe case. The spigen Enzo is a perfect example. $100+ case with some of the worst magnets I’ve tried.

If you're using MagSafe for the purpose of using it alongside a wallet, I would always go with Apple. Losing a wallet is just not worth the experimentation with 3rd part accessories to save a bit of money. Yes, $49 is pricy but it gives you peace of mind.

If you looking for very strong magnes, Pitaka make cases for iP13 series with very strong ones.
For iP14 series its not that strong, but same as oreginal Apple Cases.
For iP15 series I can't tell.
